Oz Wagtails Dog Daycare and Boarding - Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms: By enrolling your dog at Oz Wagtails Dog Daycare Centre, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms may be subject to change, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.

2. Dog Health and Vaccinations: All dogs attending Oz Wagtails Dog Daycare Centre must be up-to-date with vaccinations. A current copy of vaccination records must be provided before enrolment. Dogs showing signs of illness or parasites will be asked to stay away from the centre until Veterinary clearance at which a fit to play certificate is required. If your dog requires medication during their stay with us, their medications must be labeled by a Veterinarian with their name and clear instructions on dosage.

3. Behaviour and Socialisation: Owners must disclose any behavioural issues or aggressive tendencies their dog may have including tendencies to escape at home or jump fences. Staff also need to be made aware if your dog is fearful or stressed by storms, fireworks, cars and other loud noises or environmental factors. Oz Wagtails reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any dog displaying aggressive behaviour. Dogs should be well-socialised and able to interact positively with other dogs and staff.

4. Reservations and Cancellations: Reservations are required for daycare services and must be booked ahead of time. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to provide timely notice may result in a cancellation fee.

5. Daycare Hours: Oz Wagtails Dog Daycare Centre operates during specified hours. Dogs must be dropped off and picked up within these hours. Late pickups may be boarded overnight and incur additional charges.

6. Holiday Periods - No Refunds for Early Pick Up: During peak holiday periods such as Christmas and Easter, Oz Wagtails experiences high demand, and kennel spaces are limited based on reservations. Owners are hereby notified that there will be no refunds for early pick up during these holiday periods. Once a reservation is made, the space is secured for the specified duration, and no refunds or credits will be issued for unused days if a dog is picked up before the end of their booking. Owners are encouraged to plan their dog's stay carefully, considering the entire duration of their reservation. Failure to utilise the reserved period will not result in a refund or credit, as the kennel space has been specifically allocated to accommodate the dog during the busy holiday season. Oz Wagtails appreciates your understanding and cooperation in ensuring the smooth operation of our services during these peak times. By continuing with the reservation during holiday periods, you acknowledge and agree to the no-refund policy for early pick-ups during Christmas and Easter.

7. Payment and Fees: Payment for daycare services is due in advance. Late payments may result in a suspension of services. Additional fees may apply for late pickups, cancellations, or other special requests.

8. Emergency Medical Care: In the event of a medical emergency, Oz Wagtails staff will make every effort to contact the owner. If the owner cannot be reached, the staff is authorised to seek emergency veterinary care at the owner's expense.

9. Personal Belongings: Owners are required to label all personal belongings. Oz Wagtails is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

10. Photo and Video Release: Owners grant permission for Oz Wagtails to use photos or videos of their dogs for promotional or educational purposes unless otherwise specified in writing.

11. Termination of Services: Oz Wagtails reserves the right to terminate services for any reason, including but not limited to aggressive behaviour, non-compliance with policies, or unpaid fees.

12. Liability: While every precaution is taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs, owners understand that risks exist in group play environments. Oz Wagtails is not liable for injuries, illness, or other issues that may arise during or after daycare services.

13. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of QLD, Australia, and any disputes will be resolved in accordance with these laws. By enrolling your dog at Oz Wagtails Dog Daycare Centre, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.

Grooming Terms and Conditions

Grooming Terms and

1. Grooming Schedule

1.1. Client's dogs are scheduled for grooming  generally between 6-12 weekly on a 12-month fixed schedule, decided by the Groomer. The exact grooming dates will be mutually agreed upon and documented in writing.

1.2. Any requested changes to the grooming schedule must be communicated to the Groomer at least 24hrs in advance, and the Groomer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the requested changes.

2. No Show and Cancellation Policy

2.1. In the event of a "no show" by the Client, or if a grooming appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, the Client will incur a charge of $30. This charge is non-refundable and is to be paid prior to the rescheduling of the grooming appointment.

3. Grooming Duration

3.1. All grooming sessions require a minimum of 2.5 hours to ensure the highest quality of care and grooming for the dogs. The Client agrees to leave the dogs in the Groomer's care for the duration of the grooming process.

4. Grooming Services

4.1. The Groomer will provide professional grooming services to the Client's dogs as agreed upon during each scheduled appointment. Grooming services may include, but are not limited to, bathing, brushing, clipping, and nail trimming.

4.2. The Client agrees to inform the Groomer of any special requests or specific grooming preferences for their dogs.

5. Health and Behaviour

5.1. The Client is responsible for ensuring that their dogs are in good health and do not pose a risk to the Groomer or other dogs during the grooming process.

5.2. The client is responsible to notify the groomer of any abnormalities or areas of concern on the dog to prevent injury or harm to the dog or groomer.

5.3. The Groomer reserves the right to refuse service if a dog exhibits aggressive behaviour or if their health is a concern.

6. Payment

6.1. The Client agrees to pay the grooming fee as agreed upon prior to each scheduled appointment. Payment can be made in cash, credit card, or other mutually agreed-upon methods.

6.2. In the case of a no-show or a cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment, the Client will pay the additional $30 fee, as mentioned in Section 2.

7. Liability

7.1. The Groomer will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs during the grooming process. However, the Client understands and acknowledges that grooming may include inherent risks, and the Groomer shall not be held liable for any injuries or illnesses that may occur during or after grooming.

8. Termination

8.1. Either party may terminate this Contract by providing written notice to the other party at least 30 days in advance.
